Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), a leading association of the hospitality industry in India, will organise ‘FPO-Hospitality and Farmer’s Benefit Summit’ on November 24 in New Delhi.
In a press statement, FHRAI says that the event themed Bridging fields to forks: Strengthening agri-hospitality linkages for inclusive growth, will bring together leaders from hospitality industry, Farmer Produce Organisations and government to strengthen cooperation between agriculture and hospitality.
A press statement by FHRAI said that the Indian hospitality sector had been contributing to the economic growth, employment generation, service economy and regional development. The economic footprints of the sector had extended beyond hotels to supporting industries including agriculture, food processing and logistics and the relationship between the farming and hotel industry was interlinked.

“India’s farmers and hospitality entrepreneurs are two vital pillars of our economy. By connecting them directly, we can create a model that benefits both rural producers and the service sector. With a mission to uplift rural producers and encourage long-term, sustainable partnerships, the Summit will pave the way for a unified, future-ready ecosystem that boosts both community wellbeing and national economic growth. It is also an important step toward building resilient, transparent, and inclusive supply chains that strengthen the country’s food and hospitality ecosystem,” says Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, President, FHRAI.
The summit is expected to host more than 500 people and that the event will help FHRAI to unlock the untapped potential of India’s agri-hospitality linkage and move towards a sustainable growth model benefitting both the rural and urban economy.
