Bengaluru is the preferred domestic destination among Gen Z and Millennials
Hotels are the main driver of the upcoming summer travel boom in India as bookings rise by over 80 pc, and family hotel reservations increase by 124.9 pc, reflecting a rising preference among travellers for longer experience focused holidays and quality stays over budget travel.
These are some of the findings highlighted by Cleartrip, a leading Online Travel Agency (OTA), which is a subsidiary of e-commerce giant Flipkart.
In a press statement, Cleartrip says that the data is part of its flagship Nation on Vacation (NoVac) campaign that reveals a substantial shift in travel behaviour with passengers spending more on luxury stays, discovering growing domestic destinations and embracing flexible travel alternatives.
