Travel companies have jointly launched Darshan Destinations

In response to rising demand for spiritual tourism, Cleartrip, a subsidiary of Flipkart, along with Flipkart Travel, has launched launched ‘Darshan Destinations’ coinciding with the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

In a press statement, the companies say that the “Darshan Destinations,” comes with special fares with a 20 pc discount on flights, hotels, and buses to spiritual destinations like Ayodhya, Madurai, Tirupati, Amritsar, Bhopal, Shirdi, Bodhgaya, Kochi and Jammu.

The statement adds that through initiatives like ‘Darshan Destinations’, Cleartrip, and Flipkart Travel aim to seamlessly blend affordability, accessibility, and superior travel experiences. The recent surge in spiritual tourism, driven by Ayodhya, signifies a noteworthy shift in traveller preferences. Both platforms have noted a remarkable 1500 pc surge in Ayodhya searches, says the statement.
