FICCI delegation members engage with exhibitors at the India Pavilion during Eurosatory 2026
As part of its mission to promote the presence of Indian industry in key sectors of economy worldwide, a 34-member business delegation mounted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), an apex body of the Indian industry, arrived in Paris to participate in the ongoing Eurosatory that began on Monday.
The delegation is led by Rudra Shriram, Co-Chair, FICCI Defence And Homeland Security Committee and Deputy Managing Director, DCM Shriram International, a leading Indian conglomerate, with extensive presence in industrial fibres, defence equipments, shipping containers and engineering products.

The delegation engage with Safran and Roxel to explore collaboration opportunities with Indian defence companies
The delegation, which will be present at Eurosatory for all five days of the show has come with the intent to meet with key global defence companies to discuss the possibility of enhancing the presence and the role of Indian companies in the global defence manufacturing supply chains.
In this context, on Day 1 of Eurosatory, the agenda of the delegation included meetings with Safran, a leading French defence and aerospace manufacturing company, which has an extensive footprint in India, in civil and defence aviation as well as other defence manufacturing in the country.
The delegation also held a meeting with Roxel Group, a European leader in tactical propulsion systems.
Earlier, the delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Indian Pavillion at Eurosatory and met with leading Indian exhibitors at the Pavillion.
