Commencing its commercial operations from Bhopal, Air India Express has started daily flights from the capital of Madhya Pradesh to Mumbai and New Delhi.

Air India Express, a low-cost carrier and member of Air India Group, has commenced operations from Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal, with the launch of two daily flights to Delhi and a daily flight to Mumbai, strengthening connectivity from Madhya Pradesh’s capital.

In a press statement, Air India Express says that the inaugural flight to Delhi departed Raja Bhoj Airport at 12:45 and arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 14:15. The first flight to Mumbai departed Bhopal at 13:40 and landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 15:25.

The airline adds that bookings for these flights are open on its website, its mobile app and other major booking channels.

Air India Express says that the flights to its flight will leave Delhi every day at 10:40 reaching Bhopal by 12:05 and the return leg will see the aircraft leave Bhopal at 12:45 to land at Delhi by 14:15. The second flight, also a daily, will leave Delhi at 15:05 and reach Bhopal at 16:30, while the return flight will depart Bhopal at 17:10 and land at Delhi at 18:40.

The airline adds that from Mumbai, its flight will leave every day at 11:20 to reach Bhopal at 13:00, while the return leg will see the plane take off at 13:40 and reach Mumbai at 15:25.

The statement adds that Air India Express recently strengthened Madhya Pradesh’s international connectivity with the launch of direct flights between Indore and Abu Dhabi. With the commencement of services from Bhopal, the airline now operates around 55 weekly flights across Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore.
