Expanding its presence in Rajasthan, Akasa Air, the latest low-cost entrant to the Indian aviation industry, will launch daily direct flights from Jaipur to Mumbai and Bengaluru from October 11, making the Pink City its second destination in the state and strengthening domestic connectivity.
In a press statement, Akasa Air says that the new routes are intended to strengthen connectivity between Jaipur and two of India’s major commercial centres while supporting tourism, trade, investment and business travel.
The statement adds that the new services will provide passengers with additional travel options while supporting regional economic development and tourism in the state.

With Akasa Air also launching flights from Udaipur to Mumbai and Bengaluru from October 15, the airline says that the customers will have greater connectivity across Rajasthan through its expanding domestic network.

According to the airline, Jaipur is its second destination in Rajasthan, reflecting its strategy of linking metro cities with regional destinations that have growing demand for business and leisure travel.
