H55 partners with Elfly Group for BRM Aero B23 Energic

Swiss based H55 and Norwegian Elfly Group have partnered to launch the fully electric BRM Aero B23 Energic in the Nordic region, marking a significant step in sustainable aviation with the first CS-23 certified aircraft.

In a significant leap towards sustainable aviation, H55, a solar impulse technological spin off, and Elfly Group, electric aircraft manufacturer, have announced a groundbreaking partnership to introduce the BRM Aero B23 Energic, the first EASA CS-23 certified fully electric aircraft, to the Nordic market

In a press statement, H55 says Elfly Group will acquire three B23 Energic aircraft through the exclusive Founders’ Edition launch programme, with delivery scheduled for 2026.

It adds that the agreement establishes a strategic collaboration between H55, BRM Aero, and Elfly Group, with Elfly acting as the distributor for the B23 Energic in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.

H55 says that the B23 Energic Nordic launch will begin with a joint demonstration tour across Norway and other Nordic countries starting in early 2025.

It adds that during the tour, the fully electric two-seater, with 60 minutes of endurance plus reserves, will be showcased at flight schools and pilot academies, allowing pilots to test fly and explore its potential.

It further adds that the partnership brings together three companies focussed on sustainable aviation, covering the introduction of the first certified CS-23 electric aircraft in the Nordics, marketing, maintenance training, aircraft leasing for flight schools and private users, and providing Elfly Group with early access to an experimental aircraft.

The statement adds that the introduction of the Bristell B23 Energic in the Nordics marks a technological milestone, setting a precedent for clean aviation by proving the feasibility of zero-emission aircraft and promoting sustainable practices.
