IndiGo has commenced flight operations form NIA and will directly connect the airport to more than 16 destinations across India
IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has commenced flight operations from the recently inaugurated Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, becoming the first airline to operate from the National Capital Region’s newest airport.
In a press statement IndiGosays that the first flight arrived at NIA from Lucknow on June 15, while the first departure was to Bengaluru shortly thereafter.
Launching operations to and from NIA marks a significant milestone for IndiGo in further strengthening regional connectivity and enhancing travel options for customers across Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh.
According to the statement, IndiGo will directly connect the airport to more than 16 destinations across India. The new services will also enable one-stop connectivity between 14 city pairs, including Amritsar-Jodhpur, Bareilly-Bhopal, Bareilly-Jaipur, Bareilly-Jodhpur, Dharamshala-Jodhpur, Chandigarh-Bareilly, Chandigarh-Kishangarh, Chandigarh-Pantnagar, Jammu-Jodhpur, Jaipur-Dharamshala, Jaipur-Pantnagar, Kishangarh-Bhopal, Pantnagar-Jaipur and Pantnagar-Jodhpur.

These connections are expected to enhance access between Tier II and Tier III cities and major metropolitan centres, making air travel more seamless for customers across India.

The statement says that Noida International Airport, strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway, is poised to become a key aviation and logistics hub complementing existing capacity in the region.
With the addition of NIA, IndiGo will now serve all three airports in the National Capital Region, namely the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad and Noida International Airport in Noida.
The statement adds that the inaugural flight 6E 2278 departed from Lucknow at 07:05 to reach Noida at 08:05 before continuing from Noida at 08:35 to arrive in Bengaluru at 11:05. On the return leg, flight 6E 2279 will depart Bengaluru at 15:45 to reach Noida at 18:20 and continue onwards to Lucknow, departing at 18:55 and arriving at 20:00.
From June 15, flight 6E 2490 will operate daily from Hyderabad to Noida, departing at 06:25 and arriving at 08:35, before continuing to Amritsar at 10:10 and reaching at 11:25. The return service, flight 6E 2491, will depart Amritsar at 11:55 to arrive in Noida at 13:10 and continue onwards to Hyderabad at 14:50, reaching at 16:50.

From June 16, flight 6E 2455 will operate daily from Bengaluru to Noida, departing at 06:15 and arriving at 08:50, before continuing to Jammu at 10:05 and reaching at 11:25. The return flight, 6E 2456, will depart Jammu at 12:10 to arrive in Noida at 13:30 and continue onwards to Bengaluru at 14:40, reaching at 17:20.
From July 1, IndiGo will expand its network from Noida with daily services to and from Amritsar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jammu, Jaipur, Lucknow and Pantnagar. Four-times-weekly services will also commence to Bareilly and Jodhpur on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline says flight 6E 7626 will operate between Noida and Bareilly, while flight 6E 7627 will operate the return sector. Flights 6E 7675 and 6E 7676 will connect Noida and Jodhpur four times a week.
From July 2, IndiGo will launch services between Noida and Kishangarh, with flight 6E 7626 departing Noida at 10:30 to arrive at 11:35 and flight 6E 7627 departing Kishangarh at 11:55 to reach Noida at 13:05. An additional daily Jaipur service, flight 6E 7646, will depart Noida at 06:20 and arrive in Jaipur at 07:15.
From July 13, IndiGo will add an extra Chandigarh frequency, with flight 6E 5197 operating from Noida to Chandigarh on Mondays and Tuesdays, departing at 09:55 and arriving at 10:55. The return flight, 6E 5198, will depart Chandigarh at 12:20 and arrive in Noida at 13:35.
