IndiGo says that it will connect large cities such as Bengaluru and Hyderabad, as well as Tier II and Tier III locations
Low-cost carrier IndiGo, India’s largest airline, will become the first commercial airline to begin scheduled operations at the newly-built Noida International Airport, with direct flights to 16 cities across India.
In a press statement, IndiGo says that it will connect large cities such as Bengaluru and Hyderabad, as well as Tier II and Tier III locations such as Amritsar, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Jaipur, Lucknow, Navi Mumbai, Pantnagar and Srinagar, among others.
According to the statement, the airline is opening bookings for the flights in a phased manner through its mobile application and licenced travel partners on IndiGo’s official website.

The launch of operations is intended to boost regional access, strengthen domestic air connectivity and assist growth of India’s aviation infrastructure.
