Aernnova, Mahindra sign USD 300 million aircraft parts supply deal
MASPL to manufacture components for Airbus, Embraer aircraft lines
Aernnova Aerospace and Mahindra Aerostructures sign a USD 300 million contract for MASPL to supply metal parts for Airbus and Embraer aircraft, strengthening a longstanding global aerospace partnership.
Aernnova Aerospace, SAU and Mahindra Aerostructures (MASPL) have announced a significant multi-year contract valued at approximately USD 300 million, marking a major milestone in their 12-year partnership.
In a press statement, Aernnova says that under this agreement, MASPL will manufacture metal sub-assemblies and components for various Airbus aircraft as well as Embraer aircraft families, including the Embraer C390 Millennium military transport aircraft.

“This partnership with Mahindra will enable Aernnova to reinforce its supply base to secure production ramp-ups in our factories for all our programs, fulfilling our mission to deliver to our customers. The statement adds that the contract involves supplying components to multiple Aernnova production sites located in Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Brazil, thereby reinforcing the global collaboration between the two companies.
According to the statement, this partnership, which began in 2013, was further strengthened after Aernnova acquired Hamble Aerostructures in UK from GE in 2020, a former customer of MASPL.

It adds that Aernnova played a crucial role in MASPL’s early facility development in India, contributing significantly to facility design, skill development and skill assessment, which laid a strong foundation for this expanded collaboration.
