Ramzan is the holiest month for Muslims around the world and more than ever it is the time when people get together to offer prayers, fast and break the fast. One of the most important sites to celebrate the Ramzan and its activities is the historic Jama Masjid in Delhi. However, due to restrictions imposed since Covid-19 outbreak, the Ramzan for the past two years has been more indoors at home, rather than as a community. Hence, hundreds of devotees turned out on Friday to celebrate the first Jumma Namaz (Friday prayer) of Ramzan without any restrictions.
