The theme of the conference is ‘Creating Successful Brands in the Food Industry’.

FICCI, in association with Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India and Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), is organising the 10th ‘FOODWORLD INDIA’, a global convention on food processing sector, on November 10 at Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Minister for Food Processing Industries, will inaugurate the event.

The welcome address will be given by Dr A Didar Singh, secretary general, FICCI; the opening address by Sangeeta Pendurkar, chair, FICCI Food Processing Committee and vote of thanks by Sanjay Sharma, co- chair, FICCI Food Processing Committee.

The key discussion topics are creating successful brands in the food industry, creating strong brands in the context of changing retail environment and responsible marketing of food brands.

With the objective of bringing the global food business community together and collaborate, FICCI has been organising FOODWORLD INDIA (FWI) since 2005. The conference will discuss various topics concerning the sector such as challenges faced by the industry in creating mega brands and opportunities for modern food retailers, shaping the future food trade dynamics in India and setting standards to compliance and beyond.
