WTE Miami, launched in 2022, has quickly become a key global platform for the travel and tourism industry
In a bid to boost its presence overseas, Fairfest Media, the organiser of OTM Mumbai, a leading travel show, has announced its acquisition of WTE Miami, said to be the fastest-growing travel trade show in the United States.
In a press statement, Fairfest Media says that the acquisition marks a milestone in its global expansion, strengthening its presence in the Americas and beyond by leveraging decades of experience and leadership in Asia and India.
It adds that WTE Miami, launched in 2022, has quickly become a key global platform for the travel and tourism industry. Hosted at the Miami Beach Convention Centre with strong support from Miami International Airport, Miami-Dade County, and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, the event brings together national tourism boards, airlines, convention bureaus, and industry leaders from around the world.

Fairfest adds that featuring major participants like American Airlines, Avianca, Delta, and tourism organisations from the Bahamas, Spain, Colombia, and more, WTE Miami offers valuable networking, business opportunities, and expert insights through panels and one-on-one meetings, growing its partnerships and impact each year.
According to the statement, WTE Miami 2025 brought together over 300 exhibitors and 3,500 travel industry professionals, including hundreds of hosted buyers, effectively meeting regional industry needs. Building on this success, WTE Miami 2026 is expected to double in size, offering an even larger ROI-driven B2B travel tradeshow with strong business and media opportunities in Miami, a key multicultural gateway to the Americas.

According to the statement, WTE Miami is set for a major expansion when it returns to the Miami Beach Convention Centre on October 27–28, 2026. It says that the upcoming edition will double its number of exhibitors and attendees, reflecting the event’s rapid growth and rising industry relevance. The 2026 show will spotlight new developments in global travel and tourism, provide expanded B2B networking opportunities, and gather leading industry voices for high-level insights and thought-leadership sessions.
