The Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), India’s largest tourism B2B event held in Kerala, has crossed 3,000 buyer registrations, including 790 international and 2,210 domestic buyers, ahead of its September 24 opening. The edition is set to bring together tourism businesses, buyers, policymakers and media representatives for three days.

In a press statement, KTM Society, which organises the event, says that KTM 2026 has also recorded 382 seller bookings, while around 30 stalls representing government institutions are scheduled to participate.

The statement adds that around 40,000 business meetings have already been scheduled, indicating the scale of trade engagement planned during the mart.

International participation extends beyond buyers, with 71 international media representatives among the 138 media registrations. The event has also registered 67 representatives from the national media, says the statement.

KTM says that a key change this year will be the introduction of a fully digital event system. Registration, B2B meetings and seminar-related processes will be managed through a new software platform and mobile application.

The formal inauguration will take place on September 24 at the Lulu International Convention Centre, Bolgatty. Business meetings and the exhibition will be held from September 25 to 27 at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres on Willingdon Island.

The organisers says that the buyer registrations and scheduled meetings reflect the scale of participation expected at KTM 2026 and the opportunities for tourism businesses to connect with domestic and international markets.
