Skyview by Empyrean, a luxury hotel in Jammu, is set to host the fourth Patnitop Marathon on May 26 at Karlah in Patnitop.

The fourth edition of Patnitop Marathon will be held at the eponymous mountain resort town on May 26. In a press statement, Skyview by Empyrean, a luxury hotel in Jammu, which is the organiser of the race says the competition will be held at the Upper Terminal, Karlah, Patnitop.

Skyview says that the Patnitop Marathon will offer participants an unparalleled running experience. Each participant will receive a comprehensive package including a complimentary gondola ride, an official T-shirt, a coveted finisher’s medal, and a breakfast to fuel their journey.

It adds that the half marathon of 21.1 km will begin at 06:00, the 10 km race will start at 06:30 and the non-competitive 5 km race will commence at 07:30.

Skyview says that the Patnitop Marathon caters to diverse fitness levels with its range of race categories and has a minimum age requirement of 10 years for competitive races and 4 years for the 5 km race.

The statement adds that no registrations will be allowed on the spot, emphasising the importance of prior registration. The organisers add that all participants must wear their assigned bibs while entering the venue, facilitating efficient organisation and identification. Hydration stations will be readily available at the venue to keep participants refreshed and hydrated throughout the race, they say.

It adds that participants can assess their fitness levels before the event to ensure they are physically prepared to run or walk on the race day.
