Brightsun Travel, a leading travel management and B2B travel solutions firm, has strengthened its leadership team in India with the appointment of Varun Mehta as Head of Partnerships. The role comes with an extended mandate to drive supplier engagement and grow Brightsun Travel’s presence across India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a press statement, Brightsun Travel says that targetting stronger commercial relationships and wider market growth, Mehta brings over 25 years of experience in the global travel and tourism industry. The company says that Mehta has extensive expertise in destination marketing, MICE sales strategies, large-scale contracting and tourism board representation and that his work with international airlines, global hotel brands and tourism authorities across Asia, Europe and the Middle East positions him to support its expanding supplier strategy.

The travel firm says that it is growing its business in India and the UAE, focussing on strong partnerships, steady growth and better travel experiences for both leisure and corporate customers.
