Christmas to make a difference at Le Meridien, New Delhi

As Christmas is a festival to spread cheer and happiness all around, Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi is celebrating Christmas with a difference, in spirit and letter. The hotel has collaborated with a young artist, Nehmat Mongia to create a sustainable Christmas installation, complete with a sustainable tree and other decorations that have all been created by bamboo craft artisans from Titarpur in Delhi, who specialise in traditional bamboo art. Also involved in the installation were visually impaired girls from the National Association for the Blind for Blind Women and Disability Studies. It has also invited various NGOs that work with underprivileged to celebrate the festival and allow Le Meridien’s guests to contribute their bit in spreading the Christmas Spirit.
