The India Runway Week (IRW) is a platform to uplift young fashion curators and bring together retailers, bloggers and students of the Indian fashion fraternity and help them connect. At the recently held seventh season of the show both new and old designers showcased their work. While it was a debut for most, the opening show was by designer Daniel Syiem. Syiem has previously showcased his work at fashion shows in London, Paris, Rome and New York. For the Winter Festive 2016, he presented his collection ‘Breathe Easy’; all garments made of organic silks from the North-East including Ryndia. Ryndia is a rare silk which Syiem works with extensively and has been promoting globally.
