With tourist arrivals increasing in India at a growth rate of 7%, the ministry of tourism is launching new strategies to focus on niche tourism areas like coastal, wildlife, golf and films, along with promoting Yoga as the USP of Indian tourism. The upgradation for e-visa scheme and safety of the tourists are also considered to lure the tourists, as explains Vinod Zutshi, Secretary of Tourism for the government of India who received MIG TV team in his office in New Delhi.
