The Indian southern state of Kerala has organized its annual roadshow in Paris last March. A dozen of professionals from the state came to present the new tourism activities available. In the span of a few years, the state has been able to position itself as one of the best destination for French tourists in India thanks to its backwaters, ayurvedic treatments and ecotourism spots. Kerala tourism is also one of the rare Indian state to follow a strict branding and marketing strategy to promote the destination and set itself as a pioneer and example for other Indian states.
