Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy was in New Delhi to talk about “France, Europe, India, challenges and opportunities”, in a conference organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI).He explained exclusively to MIG the need for French companies to develop a “Make with India” policy.
Nicolas Sarkozy, who also met Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, called for a strengthening of the key strategic partnership between France and India. The former French president reminded that France and India are faithfull allies in the war against terrorism and in what he called a fight against barbarism.
