Udham Singh opened fire on General O’Dwyer

On March 13, 1940, Indian revolutionary Udham Singh shot Michael O’Dwyer at a meeting of the East India Association and the Royal Central Asian Society at the Caxton Hall in London to take revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.
