Karnataka Tourism Society elects new leadership team
New team to drive tourism growth from 2025-2027
The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS), a leading association that brings together professionals, held its 6th Annual General Meeting, electing a new management committee to lead the organisation for the next two years.
The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS), the premier association dedicated to uniting tourism and hospitality professionals across the state, has elected a new leadership team at the 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Bengaluru on September 25.
In a press statement, KTS says that elections were conducted for the office bearers and the executive committee who will lead the society for the next two-year period.
The statement adds that the newly elected team is committed to further strengthening the vision and projects that have marked KTS as a dynamic partner to both state and national government bodies, elevating Karnataka’s position as a leading tourism destination.
The statement adds that the newly elected office bearers and executive committee members of the Karnataka Tourism Society for the 2025-27 term include K Syama Raju as President, S Mahalingaiah as Vice President, H Jagadeesh as Secretary, P C Rao as Joint Secretary, and G K Shetty as Treasurer.
The executive committee members comprise Ayappa Somaiah, Radhakrishna Holla, Prabhu Shankar, Chidambaram, Vijaya Kumar, Jayaram HR, Pathapati Tharun Kumar, Sandeep Dumale, Sandeep Hegde, and Roshan Pinto. Additionally, B S Prashanth serves as a Special Invitee, while H T Ratnakar holds the position of Convener. This dedicated leadership team is set to guide the Karnataka Tourism Society in advancing its mission to promote the state’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
