Radisson signs first Radisson Collection hotel in Maharashtra

Hospitality major Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of a 350-key Radisson Collection Hotel near Navi Mumbai International Airport, marking the debut of its luxury lifestyle brand in Maharashtra.

This milestone highlights the Group’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), one of India’s most dynamic and rapidly evolving hospitality markets.
In a press statement Hotel Group says that located in Panvel near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), the Radisson Collection Hotel will stand in one of India’s most ambitious infrastructure corridors. According to the statement, the new airport is set to transform air travel in Western India, easing congestion at Mumbai’s existing hub while fuelling new business, residential, and lifestyle developments across the region.

Radisson adds that the brand is set to open by early 2030, it will offer 350 rooms and suites, curated dining experiences, a world-class spa, and rooftop bars with panoramic views. Designed to host everything from corporate events to luxury weddings, it will embody the Radisson Collection’s signature blend of sophistication, authentic hospitality, and contemporary design that mirrors Mumbai’s cosmopolitan energy, it says.

According to the statement, the upcoming hotel strengthens RHG’s association with Hill Crest Hotels and Resorts, building on their earlier partnership, Radisson Blu Plaza Resort & Convention Centre, Karjat.
