Litti Chokha is a traditional delicacy from Bihar known for its rustic taste. A small dough ball made of whole wheat flour and stuffed with sattu (roasted chickpea flour) is served with Chokha, a meshed relish of roasted eggplants, potatoes and tomatoes tossed in spices. Since the preparation requires minimal water and can be baked without utensils, it was an important delicacy in ancient Indian war times
