Homi Bhabha: Father of Indian nuclear programme

On this day in 1909, Homi Jehangir Bhabha, an Indian nuclear physicist, founding director, and professor of physics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and the father of Indian nuclear programme, was born in Mumbai, India.
