Air India says that it will operate two daily flights in each direction using its Airbus A320 aircraft
Air India, a Tata Group airline, has announced the launch of non-stop flights between Delhi and Jaisalmer, starting from October 26 to cater to demand for the Golden City in the peak travel season.
In a press statement, Air India says that it will operate two daily flights in each direction using its Airbus A320 aircraft, providing a full-service experience for travellers. These flights will also offer seamless connections to and from Europe, the United Kingdom and major domestic cities.

“This seasonal service not only caters to the growing demand for cultural tourism but also underscores Air India’s dedication to making India’s heritage more accessible through seamless air travel,” Aggarwal adds.
According to Air India, its flight, AI 487, will depart from Delhi every day at 07:20, reaching Jaisalmer at 08:50 and on the return leg, flight AI 488, will leave Jaisalmer at 09:25, reaching Delhi at 10:55. The airline says that the second daily flight, AI 489, will leave Delhi every day at 12:50, reaching Jaisalmer at 14:20 and the return flight AI 490 will leave Jaisalmer at 14:55, reaching Delhi at 16:25. The statement adds that tickets for these flights are now open for booking via Air India’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.
