The Farnborough event is scheduled from January 20 to 24
Trade tickets for the aerospace and defence event Farnborough International Airshow 2026 are officially on sale.
In a press release, organiser of Farnborough say that the event scheduled from July 20 to 24 will be the largest in its 78-year history and will have the sixth-exhibition hall added.
It adds that the exhibitor space has been selling out exhibition halls and chalets 12 months in advance and has a waiting list of more than 50 organisations. The airshow will receive more international participation than before, and reinforce its position as the platform for innovation, collaboration and investment across aerospace, defence, space and adjacent sectors, it says.
The statement adds that the edition introduces features designed to influence and accelerate financial innovation across the sector, strengthen global industry ecosystems and empower Small and Medium sized enterprises (SME).
It adds that the Defence SME zone highlighting Farnborough’s commitment to nurture talent will debut as a showcase for high-potential international organisations specialising in defence and security technologies.

The statement adds that the zone designed exclusively for businesses with turnover around GBP 10 million (USD 12.7 million) will provide opportunities for SMEs to engage directly with global defence supply chain, connect with prime, investors, media and government delegations. The zone will also help SMEs to participate in exclusive networking events and showcase innovations to more than 100,000 visitors, it says.
It adds that the Defence SME sponsored by FTSE 100 defence company Babock International will also accelerate the visibility and growth of next-generation defence suppliers.
Growing businesses incuding Cognitive Design by CDS, Elite EMC Ltd, Emergent, Infortecorp Solutions Limited, Inspectahire and Needles And Pins Aerospace will also be present during the show, it adds.
The statement adds that alongside Business Connections Exchange, Enterprise Gateway, a three-day expert led programme designed to drive supply chain development and unlock growth opportunities for SMEs and primes across multiple sectors will also be present. Speakers at the programme will include a partner at Mercurea, General Partner, Twin Track Ventures and Managing Director, Alatar Ltd. it says.
It adds that the new feature will provide practical workshops on procurement, regulation, exports and funding with keynotes and mentoring from industry leaders and policymakers. Live pitching sessions to connect SMEs with investors and primes and insights aligned with the UK government’s plan for change will also be conducted, it adds.
The statement adds that the Enterprise Gateway equips businesses with tools, connections and confidence to scale sustainably in an evolving global market.
It adds that that the 2026 edition underscores demand from most influential organisations to do business at the most trusted airshows in the world. As many as 26 international pavilions including India, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil and Switzerland are already confirmed, it says.
The statement adds that the week will conclude with the Pioneers of Tomorrow scheduled for July 24 and will inspire the next generation of industry leaders. Exhibitors, known as Champions of Tomorrow will demonstrate opportunities within the sector and enable businesses to engage with the future workforce throughout the day directly helping to solve the skills-gap.
The day will also include dedicated features and activity including a Careers Fair and digital Job Board to advertise apprenticeships, graduate schemes and entry-level roles, as well as competitions and on-stand experiences targeted at young people. Organisations already involved include Babcock International Group, Parker Aerospace and Belcan, it says.
