The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) the apex body of the Indian hospitality industry, has announced that its 56th Annual Convention will be held from August 21 to 23 in Varanasi.
In a press statement FHRAI says that the three-day event is expected to bring together more than 2,000 delegates, including government representatives, policymakers, hospitality leaders, tourism stakeholders, investors and academicians from India and overseas.

The convention will focus on strengthening India’s tourism growth by reinforcing domestic travel while enhancing the country’s appeal for inbound travellers.
According to FHRAI, discussions will centre on building a future-ready hospitality ecosystem and improving destination management.
The programme will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, leadership dialogues and networking sessions. Key themes include evolving traveller expectations, hospitality innovation, investment opportunities and sustainable destination development, says the statement.

In previous editions, the FHRAI Annual Convention has been attended by senior political leaders, including Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, Pramod Sawant in Goa, Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Goa and Bengaluru. Organisers indicated that senior government representatives and officials from multiple ministries are expected to participate in the 2026 edition as well.
