The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Indian largest tourism association representing around 2,500 companies engaged in travel, tourism, hospitality and MICE, will organise its three-day 69th TAAI Convention & Exhibition in Kolkata, West Bengal, from October 25 to 27.

In a press statement, TAAI says that the convention will bring together government representatives and stakeholders from travel, tourism and hospitality, including airlines, hotels, destinations, technology companies, MICE products and services and other allied sectors.

The convention will provide a platform for industry interaction, collaboration, networking and discussions on opportunities and challenges shaping the future of Indian travel and tourism.

The 69th convention will be held in India this year, marking a departure from TAAI’s practice of organising its conventions overseas. The association said the decision was guided by the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reflects its commitment to Incredible India, strengthening domestic tourism and showcasing India’s tourism potential to the global travel fraternity.
