IndiGo launches ‘Student Special’ fares on domestic flights
The new fares aim to ease the challenges students often face when flying, especially for domestic travel
Targetting the large market of domestic student travel, low-cost carrier IndiGo has announced the launch of Student Special initiative.
In a press statement, the airline says that it is tailored to meet the unique travel needs of students, focussing on affordability, flexibility, and convenience. The new fares, aim to ease the challenges students often face when flying, especially for domestic travel.
IndiGo says that the Student Special offering includes zero charges on flight changes, allowing students to modify their bookings without incurring any additional fees. This feature provides much-needed flexibility to accommodate their academic schedules.
It adds that the Student Special offer includes a special discount of up to 6 pc on base fares, exclusively for students. It also offers an additional 10 kg baggage allowance.

It says that the Student Special is available exclusively for bookings made through the IndiGo website or app for domestic flights.
