Mahindra, who described the site as “unique in its own way,” encouraged the development of Kanhakund as a tourism destination.

Mahindra’s tweet led to a shift in how Kanhakund was viewed by both the public and the authorities. The Odisha Tourism Department, acknowledging the growing interest, expressed its intent to enhance the infrastructure and promote Kanhakund on national and international platforms.

Plans are now underway to improve accessibility and facilities for tourists, aiming to make the site a prominent stop for visitors seeking adventure, natural beauty, and peace.
