With its 32 properties inscribed on the World Heritage list, India is a very important member of UNESCO. Since she took over as the Ambassador of India to UNESCO in 2014, Ruchira Kamboj had been working on new and innovative projects like the recognition of India’s contribution in mathematics, the preservation and classification of architectural heritage like the work of Le Corbusier in Chandigarh or the exploration of the Indian Ocean.
