#OnThisDay:On January 6, 1907, Maria Montessori opened Casa dei Bambini, also known as Children’s House, the first Montessori school in San Lorenzo, a poor slum of Rome. It had over 60 working-class children aged two to six & focussed on hands-on learning. #MIG
