Garba dancers all set to start their performances
Follow us in Vadodara, Gujarat, a place well known for its garba performance ; a colorful and lively dance which is performed in every nook and corner of the state. This traditional dance form is performed by both men and women; the girls are dressed up in traditional chaniya choli (blouse-Flared colorful-mirrorwork skirt like bottom) and boys wear kafni pyjamas with a ghagra (a short round kurta) with headgears. During the garba performances, hundreds of devotees dance and sing in rhythm around the hindu goddess, Durga.
