This collaboration highlights New Zealand’s expertise in technology-driven service industries

Using the opportunity of the ongoing visit of India by Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, hospitality technology firm Staah, that is based in New Zealand, has announced a strategic partnership with Indian hospitality firm Clarks Hotels & Resorts to enhance technology integration in India's tourism and hospitality sector.

Aiming to advance technology adoption in India’s tourism and hospitality sector, Staah, a hospitality technology firm based in New Zealand, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Clarks Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi.

In a press statement, Staah says that the MoU was formalised in Delhi on Wednesday in the presence of Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, who is currently visiting India.

The statement adds that this collaboration highlights New Zealand’s expertise in technology-driven service industries and its role in supporting large-scale hospitality operations globally.

“While cricket remains a strong cultural connection between India and New Zealand, there are several other areas where both countries can collaborate and build meaningful partnerships. Technology and hospitality are two such sectors with immense potential to drive growth. We look forward to unlocking new possibilities that drive innovation, economic expansion, and shared prosperity for both our countries,” Luxon said on the occasion.

The statement adds that Clarks Hotel & Resorts with its 135 hotels in more than 120 destinations across India and three other countries, will aim to integrate Staah’s advanced distribution technology to enhance its operational efficiency.
