Summit Hotels and Resorts, an East India-based hospitality chain has entered India’s growing spiritual tourism market with the launch of Mandir Collection, a new hotel brand focussed on pilgrimage destinations and faith-inspired travel experiences.

Summit Hotels and Resorts, a hospitality company headquartered in Siliguri, West Bengal, has entered India’s growing spiritual tourism market with the launch of Mandir Collection, a new hotel brand focussed on pilgrimage destinations and faith-inspired travel experiences. The move comes amid rising demand for spiritual, wellness and culture-led tourism across the country.

In a press statement, Summit Hotels and Resorts says that the company’s first property under the brand is planned in Rajasthan’s Salasar.

The proposed retreat will feature around 70 rooms and villas, including private pool villas, along with satvik dining and wellness experiences

“Spiritual travel in India is experiencing a massive boom, with nearly 1 in 5 Indians planning faith-based or wellness trips. According to the statement the move is aimed at tapping into the growing demand for spiritual, wellness and culture-led travel. The company is also evaluating expansion opportunities in key pilgrimage destinations such as Haridwar and Ayodhya as part of its broader growth strategy.
