In a press statement, Rajasthan Tourism says that the recent dialogue between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has framed India–Germany ties within trade, climate cooperation and technology, with tourism forming part of the broader exchange. For Rajasthan, the German market represents a segment aligned with heritage travel and sustainability-focused itineraries.

According to statement, October–March period remains the peak season for foreign arrivals. Rajasthan’s tourism circuits span the Thar desert, the Aravalli range and southern river systems. Forts, palaces, wildlife reserves and historic urban centres anchor most itineraries.

It adds that several properties in the state are inscribed by UNESCO. The hill forts of Rajasthan, including Amber, Chittorgarh and Ranthambore, are part of the World Heritage list. The Walled City of Jaipur was inscribed in 2019. These recognitions continue to shape international demand patterns.

To boost the German market further, Rajasthan Tourism says it is participating in ITB Berlin that begins today in the German capital.
