Airattix opens luggage storage facility near Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
New tech-enabled service aims to enhance travel convenience for pilgrims
Airattix has launched a tech-enabled luggage storage facility near Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, offering secure, trackable, and convenient services for pilgrims, with plans to expand to other major religious destinations.
Airattix, a technology-based storage solutions company, has launched its first luggage storage facility in Ayodhya. The unit is located less than 1 km from both the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and the Ayodhya Railway Station.
In a press statement, Airattix says that given the restrictions on carrying luggage within the temple premises, the facility aims to serve the needs of pilgrims and tourists who visit the city in large numbers.
The statement adds that the storage centre has the capacity to handle over 10,000 bags per day. It operates through a QR-enabled tagging system that allows users to track their luggage easily.
It adds that the premises are under 24-hour CCTV surveillance and remain open from early morning until 21:00 to align with temple visiting hours.
Airattix says that travellers can also make use of an online booking system to reserve storage space, ensuring a smooth check-in and checkout process.
According to Airattix, the introduction of this facility is part of its broader plan to simplify travel through secure, technology-driven storage solutions. The company intends to expand its operations to other pilgrimage destinations such as Ujjain and Varanasi.
