A 20-day self-drive expedition with over 30 women travelling in a 10-SUV convoy
Embarq, said to be the world’s first women-only luxury self-drive expedition firm, says on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, it will launch K2K 2026: The Bold Route Series, a 20-day, fully supported all-women self-drive journey, from Kutch in Gujarat to Kibithoo in Arunachal Pradesh, covering over 4,000 km across nine states.
In a press statement, Embarq says that the 20-day self-drive expedition will bring together over 30 women travelling in a convoy of 10 SUVs, covering more than 4,000 kilometres across nine states and eleven cities. It says that the route this year builds on the success of its landmark Kashmir to Kanyakumari expedition conducted last year.
The statement adds that this year, the route passes through Kutch, Mount Abu, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Siliguri, Guwahati, Itanagar and concludes at Kibithoo. Designed as a fully supported and thoughtfully planned drive, the journey prioritises comfort, safety and community, while allowing participants to experience long-distance driving on their own terms.

According to the statement, the drive builds on the momentum of Embarq’s landmark Kashmir to Kanyakumari expedition held last year, which brought together more than 50 women and 25 cars in one of India’s largest women-only self-drive convoys.
“Distance is just an excuse, what we are really creating is confidence. The Bold Route gives women the space to challenge themselves, rely on each other and realise just how capable they already are. The road simply becomes the setting for that transformation,” says Sujal Patwardhan, Co-Founder, Embarq.

“From Kutch to Kibithoo, this drive connects two extremes of the map, but it also connects stories, cultures and people along the way. We want women to see the road as something they can claim with confidence. These expeditions are designed carefully so they can focus on the journey, the friendships and the freedom that comes with being behind the wheel,” says Medha Joseph, Co-Founder, Embarq.
