The Drinks Festival is a curated drinking experience held in Mumbai recently that was attended by over 20,000 persons over the course of three days from September 23-25.

Mumbai witnessed its largest curated drinking experience, ‘The Drink’s Festival’, that was attended by over 20,000 persons and organised by Things2do. According to a press release, the organiser, Things2do, is designed to be the content destination platform that offers exciting experiences, places and food, across the globe.

The press statement goes on to say that ‘The Drinks Festival’ in Mumbai created a reason to celebrate the weekend with loved ones and featured live performances of various singers, the best bars curating eclectic cocktails, and engrossing games and activities. It was covered on-air, by outdoor media, and on digital and social media platforms

Lastly, the festival offered outdoor experiences that were the need of the hour this year and offered its visitors various beverages and cheese platters. This unique festival was conducted at a prime location in Mumbai, partnering with various artists and collaborators, making the hyperlocal platform ready for more such events.

The festival featured live performances by Anand Bhaskar and 2Blues and brought together popular bars from across the city that curated innovative cocktails like Purple GT, Rosemopolitian, Vodka Berry Blast and Spicy Whiskey Sours. Meanwhile, Jenga, foosball and beer pong and other games kept the participants thoroughly engaged and engrossed.

Luscious dishes like Grazing Skewers, Strawberry Shortbread, Cheese Platter, Coriander Chicken Dumplings, Spicy Har Gau, Truffle Edamame Dumplings, Cantonese Cristal and more, left the attendants craving for more.

The press statement adds that the festival was promoted by several social media influencers like Marita Monteiro, Chaitra and Yogita Yana and was energised by the presence of more than 15 brands and the festival reached more than 10 million residents of Mumbai.

The statement says that launched in expansion mode, Things2do has already made its presence known in 10 cities. The hyperlocal brand caters to the consumer lifestyle space, gradually shifting to the weekend space, much desired by consumers for spending their off time. “After successfully being the ‘discovery platform’ for experiences across India, the Things2do tribe conducted this unique festival this year at Mumbai’s prime location.
