Embraer is continuously evaluating opportunities to create value for its stakeholders
As part of its strategy to expand its manufacturing operations, Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has acquired full ownership of Mexico-based EZ Air Interior by purchasing the remaining 50 pc stake from Safran Cabin, a subsidiary of French aviation giant Safran.

The acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand operations in both the short and long term
In a press statement, Embraer says that the agreement includes the integration of part of Safran Cabin’s operations in Jacareí, Brazil, which are dedicated to its programmes. Engineering services in Brazil that are unrelated to Embraer operations will remain with Safran Cabin.
The statement adds that established in 2012 in Chihuahua, Mexico, EZ Air was formed by Embraer and C&D, now Safran Cabin, to exclusively support Embraer aircraft programmes. The facility manufactures aircraft interior components including luggage bins, galleys, lavatories and floor panels for the E-Jets family.
