Embraer witnesses revenue growth by 23 pc in Q1 2025

Embraer delivered 30 jets in Q1 2025, a 20 pc increase from the 25 aircrafts.

Brazilian aerospace company Embraer reported revenues of USD 1.1 billion in the first quarter of 2025, its highest first-quarter result since 2016, a 23 pc increase compared to the same period last year.

Despite the presence of US tariffs, Brazilian aerospace manufacturing company Embraer reported revenues of USD 1.1 billion in the first quarter of 2025, its highest first quarter result since 2016 and a 23 pc increase compared to the same period last year.

In a press statement, Embraer reiterated its 2025 guidance, projecting commercial aviation deliveries between 77 and 85 aircraft and executive aviation deliveries between 145 and 155 aircraft. It expects total revenues between USD 7 billion and USD 7.5 billion, an adjusted Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) margin between 7.5 pc and 8.3 pc, and adjusted free cash flow of at least USD 200 million.

It adds that it delivered 30 jets in Q1 2025, a 20 pc increase from the 25 aircraft delivered during the same period last year. These included seven commercial jets including three E2s and four E1s and 23 executive jets consisting of 14 light and 9 medium.

In the press statement, the Brazilian company stated that its adjusted EBIT reached USD 62 million, with a margin of 5.6 pc compared to 0.8 pc in the first quarter of the previous year. Additionally, its adjusted free cash flow, excluding Eve, was negative USD 385.8 million, which the company attributed to preparations for higher aircraft deliveries in the upcoming quarters.

According to the press statement, Embraer stated that it approved -payment of USD 51.4 million in dividends for its previous fiscal year. The company also issued a USD 650 million 10-year bond at 158 basis points over US Treasury yields and repurchased USD 522 million in 2027 bonds, fully retiring them, along with USD 150 million in 2028 bonds.

Embraer says that it has extended its average debt maturity to 6.3 years, compared to 3.8 years in the fourth quarter of the previous year, ending the quarter with a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 0.5x, down from 1.8 in first quarter of the previous year.

As per a press statement, the aerospace company says that the firm recorded a backlog of USD 26.4 billion, surpassing the all-time high recorded in the previous quarter.
