IHG expands presence in India with Holiday Inn in Puri
100-key hotel set to open in 2028
Upscale hospitality company IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a partnership with Ananya Group to develop a Holiday Inn hotel in Puri, Odisha slated to open in 2028.
IGH Hotels and Resorts, one of the leading hotel companies of the world, recently announced that it has signed a management agreement with Ananya Group to develop a Holiday Inn hotel in the holy city of Puri in Odisha.
In a press statement, the hotel group says that the property set to open in 2028, is part of the company’s plan to expand its presence in high-growth markets in India.

The statement adds that the upcoming Holiday Inn Puri will feature 100 keys, picturesque sea views, and three versatile meeting spaces, including a grand ballroom catering to social events and MICE opportunities. IGH currently owns 46 hotels operating across five brands in India and a strong pipeline of 58 hotels due to open in the next 3-5 years.
