IndiGo reallocates flights between terminals in Delhi Airport
Airline to start Terminal 2 operations from October 26
Low-cost carrier IndiGo will restart operations from Terminal 2 at Delhi Airport from October 26, reallocating specific flight series across Terminals 1, 2 and 3 to streamline passenger movement and operational efficiency.
India’s largest airline IndiGo has announced the resumption of operations from Terminal 2 at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport starting October 26 and redistributed its flights across the three terminals.
In a press statement, IndiGo says that flights numbered 6E 2000 to 6E 2999 will operate from Terminal 2. Flights numbered 6E 5000 to 6E 5999, along with all international departures, will continue operating from Terminal 3. All remaining domestic flights will be handled at Terminal 1.
Indigo says that the revised terminal allocation aims to optimise airport resources and streamline boarding processes as domestic air traffic continues to grow.
It adds that passengers are advised to check their flight numbers and terminal details before travel to ensure a smooth experience.
