Très 2025 Wanderlust Roadshow, a travel trade event kicked off on Thursday in New Delhi. It offers an exclusive showcase of 75 boutique hotels, retreats, jungle lodges and unique travel concepts from across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
According to the organisers, the event focusses on off-beat destinations and immersive, nature-centric experiences, reflecting a growing trend in the travel industry where travellers seek more than just accommodation, they look for authentic, memorable encounters with nature and local culture. The properties also focus on showcasing that region from a different perspective.

“Kota is famous for its coaching classes, but we at Umed Bhawan Palace try to portray the city from a different lens. We want our guests to experience a completely different aspect of this place and take home the experience of staying with us as part of a souvenir,” says Jaidev Singh, Director, Umed Bhawan Palace, a five-star former palace-turned-hotel in Kota, Rajasthan.
The roadshow curated properties located in offbeat regions of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and the tea estates of Kerala, as well as some from Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. The event also highlighted how these properties are redefining luxury and travel by prioritising location and experience over traditional amenities.

The properties showcased also emphasise experiences that immerse guests in the natural environment. Many showcased properties specialise in wildlife safaris, birdwatching and jungle expeditions, such as Samode Safari Lodge in Bandhavgarh and Sujan’s camps in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Others offer farm-to-table culinary journeys, tea farm tours and wellness retreats, like the Lodge at Wah in Palampur and Mharo Khet in Jodhpur, allowing guests to engage with local agriculture, cuisine and wellness traditions.
“We provide the opportunity to experience pastoral life, enjoy farm-fresh food, and participate in everyday farming activities while staying at our luxurious cottages. Our property is a little different from other hotels and resorts in Rajasthan, as we focus on offering everything other than the culture of the state. Here guests from the United Kingdom and the United States come to relax and be a part of nature after travelling across Jodhpur,” Rajnush Agarwal, co-founder of Mharo Khet, a farm retreat in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, tells India & You.

Properties such as the Kumaon in Almora and Niraamaya Wellness Retreats in Kerala exemplify this approach, offering curated activities that blend relaxation with regional discovery.
